Both the Tasman and Kinleith mills are required to comply with strict environmental law and resource consents discharge standards for air, water and land. Tasman Mill also holds the externally-audited international environmental standard ISO 14001. Both mills have an ECF (Elemental Chlorine Free) bleaching process.
The mills emphasise stakeholder involvement and consultation, recognising the importance of the communities and ecosystems where they operate.
